Description
Anthocyanin Liquid Extract is a colored water-soluble pigment (red, purple, and blue) extracted from plants, fruits, and vegetables that have an attractive hue. It is extracted from berries, currants, grapes, and some tropical fruits as they have high anthocyanins content. It is also obtained from red to purplish blue-colored leafy vegetables, tubers, grains and roots. It is prepared with an organic solvent like methanol and used as a natural color additive in processed foods and beverages.
