Description
Anticaking Agent (INS 559) is an inorganic compound derived from aluminium oxide and silicon dioxide. It may be in its anhydrous or hydrated form, naturally occurring as minerals or synthetic. It appears as odourless, soft, whitish powder free from gritty particles. It is used as a food additive in the form of anticaking agent to prevent food particles from sticking together and ensure the product remains dry and free-flowing.
