Description

Antioxidant (INS 304) is a fatty acid ester of ascorbic acid produced by reacting palmitic acid (fat source) and ascorbic acid (vitamin C). It is an additive approved by the European Union and is used as a synthetic antioxidant in food and drink products. It is in the form of white or yellowish-white solid and has a citrus-like odour.
