Description

Cassia Bark (Taj) is an aromatic bark of the tree Cinnamomum cassia, also called Chinese cassia or Chinese cinnamon, a tropical evergreen tree originating in southern China. Though it looks quite similar to cinnamon but is thicker, coarser and darker than it. It can be in brown colored powder form and in whole, or "stick" form. It can be used as a spice to flavour sweet and savoury dishes. It can be also be used as a substitute to Ceylon Cinnamon.
