Description

Chia seeds are the edible parts of chia plant.These seeds have a smooth, shiny and oval surface and range from dark brown and black to greyish white in color. Quite recently chia seeds have come into the limelight and are known as “superfoods" due to their extensive nutritional benefits. Chia seeds found its origin in Mexico but today it is grown and in severalcountries like Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Peru, and the United States and consumed world wide.Chia seeds are a group of whole grain unprocessed foods that can be absorbed by the body as seeds but are also eaten in the form of powder. Chia Powder is created by grinding up chia seeds into a fine powder.
