Description

Chirmi patti is a woody vine native to India and other tropical and subtropical areas of the world. It is a herbaceous flowering plant in the bean family Fabaceae. Chirmi patti is a utilized as herb in Ayurveda. It is a slender, perennial climber with long, pinnate-leaflets leaves. The tea made from its leaves is used as a cure for fever. Its blossoms happen in groups 1-3 inches in length, generally red to purple in color.
