Choline bitartrate is a mixture of choline and a salt of tartaric acid. It is found in many dietary sources such as peach, nuts, beans, spinach and wheat germ. Choline bitartrate belongs to the class of organic compounds known as cholines. Choline bitartrate has been used as one of the components in experimental diets to study the effects on reproductive processes.
