Description
Clove Leaf is the large, dark green leaves of small tropical tree in the family Myrtaceae, Syzygium aromaticum. The leaves have dotted undersides with pockets containing secretory odorous components. These leaves are used to extract essential oil by steam distillation of the leaves, used for medicinal purposes.
