Description
One of the processed forms of Asafoetida spice is termed as compounded hing. It is extracted from Ferula Assa-Foetida(a monoecious, herbaceous, perennial plant of the family Apiaceae). It is a fine, yellow colored powder that contains approx 30% asafoetida resin, along with rice flour or white wheat flour and sometimes gum arabic.
