Description
Corn flakes are a breakfast cereal made by toasting flakes of corn which is also called maize. It was created by a man named William Kellogg in 1894 for his brother John Kellogg. From the time that original flavor of corn flakes was produced, the plain flakes have been flavored with salt, sugar, and malt, and many successive products with additional ingredients have been manufactured such as sugar-frosted flakes and honey & nut corn flakes. Corn flakes can be eaten raw or can also be formed into a powder and used in the preparation of various dishes. Corn flakes powder can be easily made at home using a blender or food processor. All you need is a cup of cornflakes and blend it for almost 5 minutes in a blender to get a fine powder. Depending upon how coarse or fine-textured powder is needed, the duration of blending can be decreased or increased accordingly.
