Description

Eucalyptus honey is a unique variety of honey which is harvested mostly from the Eucalyptus globulus tree.This tree belongs to a wide family of flowering trees in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. However, from all of them, Eucalyptus globulus tree gives the best eucalyptus honey. This tree is native to Australia, and was introduced to other parts of the world including Europe, India and South Africa. Eucalyptus honey has a thick texture and has a light amber colour with green flecks.It crystallises with a rapid to medium speed, with fine to medium crystals.
