Choose firm berries with a full yellow color. Avoid those that are with green caps because these aren't yet ripe.

Description
Gold raspberry has same characteristics like that of Red raspberry in all aspects except that it is gold in color with pink hues. It is an aggregate fruit with single drupelets that are held together by very fine, nearly invisible hair. When picked, the stem and the receptacle of the fruit stay on the plant, leaving an empty center within the fruit. It is fuzzy, fragile and extremely sweet with a subtle hint of tartness. It is available in summer.
