Description
Golden berries are bright, orange coloured fruits that are wrapped in a papery husk called calyx. They are closely related to the tomatillo but are slightly smaller than cherry tomatoes. They look like a miniature yellow tomato 1.25–2 cm wide. These berries belong to the nightshade family, Solanaceae and grow in warm places around the world. They are native to the Andes Mountains in Western South America.
