Description
Green jackfruit is basically a large tropical Asian tree (Artocarpus heterophyllus) which is related to the breadfruit that yields a fine-grained yellow wood and immense fruits which contain an edible pulp and nutritious seeds. Roasted, dried seeds of green jackfruit are ground to make a flour which is blended with wheat flour for baking. It is yellowish-white in colour.
