Description
Gulgul (Giant Indian Lemon) is a ovate-oblong shaped, yellow colored, 10-11.5 cm in diameter, slightly nipped fruit that belongs to lemon species. It has rind 0.6-0.8 cm thick with white pulp inside. It is a hardy fruit crop and has been traditionally cultivated in various climatic zones. It is found in semi-wild state in the North West Indian hill states of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttrakhand.
