Hot chilli pepper oil is dried chillies preserved in oil. It is a condiment prepared from vegetable oil(often soybean oil or sesame oil), infused with chili peppers. It can include different varieties of oil and hot peppers. It may also include spices like sichuan pepper, garlic, or paprika. It is red in color and has thin, water like consistency. It is widely used in Chinese cuisine, East and Southeast Asia.
