Kalijira rice famously known as Govinda Bhog is a premium medium-size grain that has a distinct aroma. It is milled in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. This rice certainly has a subtle perfume and consistency. This is a small non-glutinous rice cooked by boiling. It stands out to be a feasible alternative to basmati rice, nonetheless, it is called the baby basmati. It is cultivated in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a long-grain rice, and it is supposedly cooked in a less span of time in comparison to basmati rice. Moreover, it is pure white in colour and naturally gluten-free.
