Description

L-Isoleucine is a crystalline, hydrophobic, essential amino acid that is obtained in its levorotatory L-form by the hydrolysis of dietary protein and is isomeric with leucine. Food which are rich in isoleucine are pork, beef, veal, lamb, chicken, turkey, fish, cheese, wheat germ, legumes, seeds and baker’s yeast.
