Lime pickle is one of the popular pickles made up of lime that is served in India. It is one of the easiest pickle to make that requires putting a lime mixture in a pickling jar and leaving it for two weeks so it can ferment. Not only is it delicious, but fermented foods are said to have a long list of health benefits, so it can be a healthful meal addition as well. To make lime pickle at home, take 4 cups of water in a large vessel and get a boil. Onnce the water comes to a boil, drop in 10 lime. Cover and rest it until the lime softens. Now take off the lime from water and pat dry. Once done, chop it into four pieces and set aside.
