Look for fully matured, bright red colored Malagueta Pepper. Avoid if it looks withered or wrinkled.

Description
Malagueta Pepper is a small, tapered chilli, about 2 inches in length. It is a variety of chili pepper widely used in Brazil, the Caribbean, Mozambique, Portugal, Angola, and SĂŁo TomĂ© and PrĂncipe. It is green in color and turns red as it matures.
