Description

Malagueta Pepper is a small, tapered chilli, about 2 inches in length. It is a variety of chili pepper widely used in Brazil, the Caribbean, Mozambique, Portugal, Angola, and São Tomé and Príncipe. It is green in color and turns red as it matures.

Selection Guide

Look for fully matured, bright red colored Malagueta Pepper. Avoid if it looks withered or wrinkled.
