Description

Modified Milk Ingredients refer to basic milk components such as casein, caseinates, whey (including whey butter and whey cream), cultured milk products (including yogurt and buttermilk), ultrafiltered milk and milk protein concentrate. Modified milk ingredients may appear in many dairy items whenever milk or cream is traditionally used, like ice-cream, ice- milk, cheeses, processed cheese and cheese slices, sour cream, yogurt, and even milk chocolate. By using specific modified milk ingredients, though the taste of the food suffers  but they pose no health issue.
