Description

Morels Mushrooms are small to large sized, wild, edible variety of mushrooms that belong to the Morchellaceae family. The mushrooms are oblong, cone-shaped or egg-shaped attached to short, stout stems. The color of the cap varies from blonde, light brown, grey, to dark brown. The cap is fragile and brittle with hollow, honeycomb-like exterior that contains many irregular holes and ridges attached to the stem.
