Description

Morinda citrifolia is a fruit-bearing tree in the coffee family, Rubiaceae native across Southeast Asia and Australasia. The plant has large, dark green, shiny and deeply veined leaves, and bears flowers and fruits all year round. The fruit is oval in shape and turns from green to yellow, to white as it ripens. Its fruit is used to extract juice(noni juice), widely used for medicinal purposes, for its antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties.
