Description
Non dairy whipping cream is a liquid oil-in-water emulsion, which can be whipped into a stable foam. The foam consists of air bubbles dispersed in a serum phase. It typically contains vegetable fat, milk proteins, sweeteners, water, emulsifiers and stabilizers. The non-diary whipping creams is made up of water, stabilizers, vegetable protein, common salt, emulsifiers, edible hydrogenated vegetable oil and occasionally have skimmed milk as well. Some of the common sources that are used in making this cream are palm fat, soy, and coconut. Overall, the only difference between dairy cream and non-dairy cream is its fat content.
