Description
Backhousia citriodora also known as lemon myrtle is a flowering plant in the family of myrtaceae. This plant is endemic to subtropical rainforests of central and south-eastern queensland, Australia. Lemon myrtle grows to almost 8m with fragrant, glossy and lance shaped leaves of 2-5 inches. The small cream colored flowers gorws in cluster during summer season.
