Description
Kimia dates are Iranian date fruit grown in most Iran’s south regions but it is more grown in the southern Iranian city of Bam. The bam is the most famous place where high-quality kimia dates are grown and it has around 28000 thousand hectares of land under the harvest of kimia dates. Kimia dates have a dark purple color that turns to black as they ripes. They have a soft texture with high moisture content in them. The moisture content in them largely depends upon the harvesting time and the place where they grow. The dates are oval-shaped and have meaty and succulent flesh inside. They can be eaten out of hand or added to puddings, cakes, and cookies.
