Description
Panax Quinquefolium is a herbaceous perennial plant in the ivy family, native to eastern North America but also cultivated in China. Its roots look similar to a forked parsnip. Both its roots and leaves are widely used as traditional Chinese medicine for its cooling and sedative medicinal effects.
