Description
Parboiled Rice are rice that have been partially boiled in the husk. It undergoes three basic steps, soaking, steaming and drying. Parboiling changes rice color to a light yellow or amber, which otherwise differs from the pale, white color of regular rice. It also reduces the stickiness of rice so they yield fluffy and separate kernels on cooking.
