Description
Pasteurized goat milk is raw milk obtained from goat that has undergone pasteurization process, in which milk is treated with mild heat less than 100 °C, to eliminate pathogens and extend shelf life. To pasteurize goat milk at home, pour the filtered milk in a stainless steel pot and put on the stove over medium heat. It is stirred frequently until temperature of 165° Fahrenheit(Use a thermometer to check the temperature) for 15 seconds. Once the 15 seconds are over, place the stainless-steel pot in an ice bath, until the temperature decreases to approximately 55° Fahrenheit. When the milk has chilled completely, it is poured into sterilized jars.
