Description
Peepal is a tree which grows in tropical and subtropical climates. It grows up to 30m. It is grown in India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. The stem bark, fruits, tender shoots, leaves, apical bud and latex of peepal tree are used. The peepal leaves are cordate in shape with a distinctive extended drip tip. The fruits are small figs which varies from green to purple.
