Description

Pregelatinized starch is actually a starch that has been precooked, dried and ground into flake or powder form. It is derived primarily from corn. It can be easily dissolved in cold liquids. It is obtained by gelatinizing and drying of starch suspension. Gelatinization is a process which involves the transformation of an aqueous starch suspension into a starch paste.
