Description
The bhut jolokia chilli pepper is an interspecific hybrid chili pepper and is considered as one of the hottest chilli pepper in the world. It is cultivated in Nepal as well as the Northeast Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, and Assam. They appear as red, yellow, orange or brown in color with very thin skin and are 2.5 to 3.5 inches long. The chillies are smoke-dried and crushed to flakes. They can even be oven dried and crushed to produce flakes.They can be used to add a hint of smokiness and spicy flavour to dishes.
