Description

Rai Powder is prepared with any one variety of mustard seeds, or a combination of all, brown, black and white seeds mixed together. These are dry roasted and ground to make a fine powder, that can be mixed with turmeric or saffron for added flavor and color. As a dry powder, it has no aroma but gives a hot flavor when mixed with water. It is used as a spice in cooking or prepared as a paste with water to use in hot dogs and pretzels.
