Description
Reetha is a small fruit of the deciduous plant, Sapindus mukorossi, cultivated only on clay soil. It is found growing in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. It is native to Western coastal Maharashtra –Konkan, and Goa in India. It is very popular in Ayurveda and used in its dried and ground form.
