Description
Shatavari is a species of the asparagus plant, common throughout India and the Himalayas. It has small pine-needle like branches, uniform and shiny green in color. It produces white flowers on short, spiky stems and bears blackish-purple, globular berries. It has been used for many centuries in Indian Ayurvedic medicine, for its leaves and roots.
