Description
Black chana are nutritious legumes full of vitamins, fiber, protein and minerals. Sprouting them increases their nutrient value and sprouted chana can be easily added to salads, snacks or consumed on their own. To make sprouted chana, wash and soak black chickpeas in enough water overnight. Drain water completely and then tie them in a clean damp cotton cloth. Place it in a colander and cover it with the plate, keep it in a warm place until it sprouts well. Sprouting tends to enhance the nutritional value of grains, legumes, or beans. It also inhibits our digestive enzymes that can cause indigestion and intestinal gas.
