Description
Stevia is a leafy herb with an upright growth pattern. Its stems are not very sturdy, so the plant is frequently referred to as “tender.” Plant is elongated, green in color, oval-shaped leaves. The edges of the leaves may be little bit serrated. In the summer, leaf stalks bloom with little white flowers. It is available year-round in warm climates. It is native to the semi-humid, subtropical areas of South America.
