Description

Sesame seeds are tiny edible seeds of a plant of the Sesamum genus, native to both India and Africa. The seeds are only 3-4mm long and 2mm wide which are initially found in a black hull inside a pod. It is one of the oldest oilseed crops known. Sesame seeds can be eaten raw or after roasting. One innovative way of eating sesame seeds is by consuming sugar coated ones. Sugar coated sesame can be easily made at home, just wash the sesame seeds very well and remove sand and all the stones. Now pour it in a motor, pound moderately and then wash and remove the chaff. Light the pan on fire, fry the sesame seeds for 20 minutes until a light brown color appears. On a tray, spread a nylon rub oil on it and keep. Put sugar on fire and allow to melt into sticky, chewy confection. Now, add the sesame seeds and mix very well. Finally, pour the sugar coated sesame into the oily nylon on the tray, when it is a bit cool cut as desired.
