Description
Sugar sauce is a thick, brown sauce, prepared by combining brown sugar, cornstarch, butter and a pinch of salt with hot water in a saucepan. It is cooked over medium heat until slightly thickened. Vanilla extract can be added to it for flavour. It can compliment bread pudding, cheesecake, or pancakes as a topping.
