Description
Sugarcane vinegar is made from syrup obtained from sugar cane. Sugarcane is harvested and it is crushed to extract the juice, then simmered down into a syrup, and the syrup is fermented into vinegar. Its colour ranges from dark yellow to golden brown. It is common in Asian food preparation. It is used mainly in the Philippines. It is made from sugarcane juice in Pakistan and India. In North India, it is made at home during summer months.
