Description
Tapioca powder is made from the crushed pulp of the cassava root, a woody shrub that is native to South America and the Caribbean. It is a very fine, white colored powder that works well in gluten free baking. It comes as powder and due to its water absorbing ability, it is used in thickening gravies and soups.
