Description

Thiamine Hydrochloride is a water-soluble vitamin which is a hydrochloride obtained by combining thiamine chloride with hydrochloric acid. It is in the form of a white crystalline powder with a faint characteristic yeast or nut like odor.It is a colorless compound, soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol. It can be used to prevent or treat low levels of vitamin B1 in people with vitamin deficiency.
