Description

Thoothuvalai is a perennial herb covered with thorns, commonly found in the southern region of India along with some other countries like Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. The leaves of the plant are triangular and are irregularly lobed. Thoothuvalai Leaf Powder is obtained from the dried leaves of the herb, Solanum trilobatum. The leaves are dried under the shape and ground into powder. It is used for its medicinal properties and is popular both in the Ayurveda and Siddha system of healing.
