Description

Vasa is a small, evergreen shrub and a medicinal plant which is native to Asia. It can also be found in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Thailand. The plant has ovate-lanceolate, acute and shiny leaves, 10 to 15 centimeters in length. The flowers of the plant are white in color and capsule shaped. It is extensively used in traditional medicines such as Siddha Medicine, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Unani systems of medicine.
