Description

Xylitol (Natural Corn Cob Extract) is a natural five-carbon sweetener extracted from corn cob. The corn cobs are ground and added to a natural acid solution that begins the process of separating the xylan molecule from the corn cob. The xylan syrup is filtered through a filtration and evaporation process to prepare the d-xylose for decolorization (through light’s natural bleaching). It results in the crystallization of xylitol, made into any size granule required. It can be used as a sugar-free alternative in food and confectionery.
