Description
Yarrow has small, antler-shaped leaves growing along its narrow, light green stems creating a feathery appearance. It is a soft herb, like tarragon. The plant blooms in late summer with small white colored flowers, reminiscent of tiny, flattened daisies. The entire plant of yarrow is edible, and it is said the leaves are best harvested when the plant is in bloom. It is native to Europe. It is available in summer months.
