Description

Terminalia arjuna is a 20-25m tree of the genus Terminalia. It belongs to the family of Combretaceae. The tree has oblong, conical leaves, smooth and grey bark, and pale yellow flowers. Arjuna Powder (Terminalia Arjuna) is a powder made from the bark of Terminalia arjuna. The bark has been used in India primarily as a heart remedy, for more than 3000 years.It is used in both fresh white form as well as a dried form, made into a brown coarse powder for medicinal purposes.
