Chocolate is made from the beans of the cacao tree theobroma. The three important components of chocolate are cocoa, milk, and sugar. There are three main varieties of chocolate: white chocolate, milk chocolate, and dark chocolate. White chocolate tastes much sweeter than the other two varieties of chocolate. It does not have any cocoa in it. It is mainly made up of cocoa butter. It is white in color. Milk chocolate is milder and sweeter because it is made with cocoa,milk and a higher sugar content than the darker varieties. It is brown in color. Dark chocolate is least sweet and it has the strongest chocolate flavor as it has a high concentration of cocoa. It is dark brown in color.
