Description
Colour E101(i) are food additives in the form of a natural food coloring agent, approved by the European Union. It occurs naturally in eggs, kidney, liver, milk, and vegetables. It can also be prepared by the synthesis of certain yeasts. It can be used to impart a yellow color to food and beverages. Its use is limited in the food industry because of its low solubility.
