Tinospora Cordifolia is a herbaceous shrub of the Menispermaceae family, native to tropical areas of Bangladesh, Myanmar, India and Sri Lanka. It has succulent stems with long filiform fleshy aerial roots from the branches. These stems are dried and ground to fine, brown powder.
